WHAT HAPPENED TO COLOR?

I was watching a VHS video of a Doctor Who episode made in the mid 80s. It featured my favorite companion, Peri, played by Nicola Bryant (pictured above). She was wearing a neon pink top and a neon blue pair of walking shorts. I realized that bright colors were SEXY.

So what happened to the neon colors or, for that matter, any color in women’s fashion? You don’t see bright colors on women in current times..

The thing that made the 70s and 80s sexy was the bright colors. So I bring you a look those colors. In these, you will see Morgan Fairchild, Kathy Ireland and Faith Ford (from Murphy Brown).
